Automatic Nomination

Cargonaut’s Automatic Nomination service makes the nomination process at Schiphol faster, more efficient and predictable, while doing away with the need for manual nominations. The nomination process supports the processes for all inbound air cargo with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as its destination, including RFS (Road Feeder Service).

A key feature of Automatic Nomination is that all station declarations are saved to a central database. Previously each ground handler had to separately maintain its own station declaration lists, whereas now all ground handlers can base their nominations on the central database. This improves data quality, prevents obsolescence through collective management and makes the process faster, more reliable and less prone to error.

Automatic Nomination offers all parties involved greater control, improved visibility and guarantees that nominations are based on data that are both up-to-date and reliable.

What benefits does Automatic Nomination offer me?

  • The saving of digital station declarations to one central database gives you a better and more complete understanding of active station declarations..
  • Nomination takes place shortly after departure from the place of origin, allowing you to design your own processes more predictably and efficiently.
  • Far fewer manual nominations and actions are required, making your processes more efficient and secure, with significantly less room for error.
